Shows!

I saw Tiger Army last weekend with my sister who said that I was dead to her, but now I will be redeemed after posting this.
They're wonderful and helped us get one step closer to our goal of seeing AFI. Nick 13 is friends with Davey and Jade and also he has pretty eyes ( which has nothing to do with afi, just saying) and Geoff Kresge used to be the bassist for afi.

They played favorites like "Afterworld" and "Forever fades Away". They played "Pain" which is an awesome song, but you know how some songs give a different reaction when played live? If you're seeing them for the first time, sometimes it's surprising what songs create the most moshing and this was one of them. As the show ended they gave us a choice of what song to play next, "Power of Moonlight" or my favorite "Incorporeal". So because I yelled my head off and clapped my hands as loud as I could they played "Incorporeal", just so they wouldn't have to deal with the crazy kid up front. And ended the show with "Never Die".

Matt Skiba and the Sekrets

They're going on tour!! Unfortunately no where close to me.

Friday, April 13, 2012

Oh and Happy Friday the 13th. I always forget that it's that day. I'm more of a Halloween girl myself.
I always forget about April Fool's day too. I think it's the month April, we just need to get rid of the whole thing.

Marilyn Manson ft. Johnny Depp

I'm not a real huge fan of Marilyn Manson, I just like Johnny Depp. :D
And Manson's voice isn't all that great in this video compared to usual at least. So you may watch it on mute and watch dreamy Johnny Depp or listen to it to hear his awesome guitar strumming. Whatever your heart desires. What does your heart tell you? Ok now I'm just quoting movies.

Artist Friday

Thinking this will be turned more into a 'artists I'm obsessively listening to right now' post. Since I'm too lazy to post every Friday (at least I'm honest) and usually the obsessive listening parties happen about once or twice a month. But today is appropriately Friday (my pacific and mountain time friends), so it works for today.
I give you: A Day To Remember

Song starts at 2:35
