Day 28 - Song that makes me feel guilty. There are songs that make feel guilty for liking them. I'm trying not to be a music snob. Like Awolnation, I just found out that I kind of like them. Um Tokio Hotel, Breathe Carolina. I've been getting that The Wanted song stuck in my head, Glad You Came. It's catchy. I was just listening to someone the other day thinking they were a guilty pleasure, but now I can't remember who it was. I've been getting into the electronic music, but the ones where someone is actually singing and aren't just flipping switches. Like I just got a Blake Lewis CD and I went to two shows in a row that were electronic, but one was electronic rock, so I think that redeems me a little bit.

Day 29 - A song from your childhood.

I just heard this one the other day and it brought back memories. Lots of memories singing it just beceause he says "I just made you say underwear". Pinch Me - Barenaked Ladies

Day 30 - Favorite song at this time last year.

Radio by Rancid. I had just gone to their show and I just noticed that I almost went to the Blaqk Audio show exactly a year from the Rancid show. Rancid was September 6 and Blaqk Audio was September 7. One day!

New Music

I just found out that The Offspring's new album came out back in June. How did I miss this? I heard their new song on the radio, but I always thought that it hadn't come out yet, especially since they were only playing one song. They just started playing a second song tonight.

And I don't usually listen to Deadmau5, but he has a new song with Gerard Way from MCR on it.

Shows!

I went and saw Blaqk Audio on Friday at Vinyl inside the Hard Rock. I have to say that was the best night of my life. This was my first time ever seeing Davey Havok and Jade Puget, and as an extra treat we also saw Smith Puget at the beginning and end of the set! What was even greater was that I touched Davey Havok's hand. Yes I will brag about that much as I possibly can. I will sneak it into conversations even if we are talking about the weather. "I heard it was going to rain today." "Oh that will be nice after all this hot weather. You know who else is hot? Davey Havok, I touched his hand."

Seriously Vinyl is awesome with their short stage. At one point he leaned into the crowd and his face was like a foot away from my face.
