How is This the Same Band?

Here's a link I found from New Noise about AFI. Plus they have a name and release date for their new album: Burials out Oct. 22.

In case link ever stops existing here are the ten songs that would make people new to AFI ask how is this the same band? Let's face it every time they come out with something new even I always ask that question. If it wasn't for Davey Havok's voice and his big words... Especially when he changes his style when Crash Love came out I thought they got a new singer. Unfortunately for this album he has stayed in the same appearance...so far. (I vote for long hair again and clean shaven)

I really like the yell he does, I hope there is more yelling/growling in the rest of the album.
The only thing is, is that I expected the song title to be a little more less understanding in the AFI tradition of naming songs.
